K’Lei joined the Galveston Bay Foundation as an environmental educator intern in August 2024. She graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston Campus with a degree in Coastal Environmental Science and Society and a minor in Oceanography in May 2022. Originally from Colorado she decided to move to Texas to pursue her passion for ocean conservation. In her free time, K’Lei enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring nature and going to the beach any time she can.
