Volunteers are the driving force behind the Galveston Bay Foundation, propelling our efforts to ensure a thriving Galveston Bay estuarine system. When you volunteer with us, you’re not just giving your time — you’re gaining invaluable hands-on experience in environmental conservation and restoration, earning service hours, having team building experiences, and deepening your understanding of Galveston Bay.
We believe in the power of community and that everyone can find a way to contribute towards our mission. Please review the volunteer opportunities below to determine how you would like to help. Email volunteer@galvbay.org if you would like more information.

We do, and the opportunities can vary. We sometimes need assistance with administrative tasks like organizing or shredding papers, and also like to get help with the care of our animal ambassador, Pear. Email volunteer@galvbay.org to inquire about youth summertime volunteering.
Don’t worry, we may not have sent an email yet! We typically send a volunteer email every 2-3 months.
