Join Galveston Bay Foundation as we work around the Bay to protect the vital natural resource we're all connected to.
Join Galveston Bay Foundation educators to experience the plight of endangered species in the Bay and what we can do to help. Some event opportunities include:
– Meet Pear, our diamondback terrapin, and learn more about her species with a craft activity!
– Play a marine debris game and learn how it impacts animals in the Bay!
– Collect microplastics on the shoreline and learn more about the Nurdle Patrol!
– Go birding and learn about the success story of the brown pelican!
This is a come and go event with walking on uneven ground. Please wear sneakers and weather appropriate clothing. Be sure to enjoy lunch at one of our partner restaurants in Kemah after the event!
Reservations are required and there is a maximum of 60 participants able to attend this event. Admission is $5.00 per person. CLICK HERE to get your tickets.
