Starla joined the Galveston Bay Foundation team in the summer of 2024. She graduated from the west Texas A&M University with a B.S in Wildlife Biology. As an undergrad she travelled all across the country looking for intern opportunities to further her career, working with various types of wildlife. Starla grew up in central Texas and thinks the Bay is such a special place. She loves watching Disney movies, birding, and spending time with her husband.
