Jacob joined Galveston Bay Foundation in December 2024, after over a decade of experience in government affairs, nonprofit advocacy, and campaigns and elections. His previous legislative experience focused on wildlife conservation and animal welfare advocacy. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in political science and sociology in 2015. Jacob is a passionate angler, conservationist, and spends most all his free time in and around Texas’ bountiful bay systems. He is excited to build relationships with state, local, and federal lawmakers to advance our mission and raise awareness about the Galveston Bay Foundation’s programming.
