Rain Barrel Workshop

Conserve water and protect the Bay! Join Galveston Bay Foundation for a Rain Barrel Workshop at Houston Maritime Museum!

Rain barrels are an efficient, low-cost, low-maintenance method for collecting rainwater. They are placed at downspouts in order to reduce runoff and flooding, conserve freshwater, and reduce pollution reaching Galveston Bay via storm drains. Rain barrels can be used for watering a garden or houseplants, washing a car, and much more!

Registration costs $35 and includes one rain barrel and connector kit — the cheapest in town!

Due to the inclement weather and flooding, we are rescheduling the May 11 Rain Barrel Workshop at the Maritime Museum.

The workshop is now scheduled for:

Saturday, August 17, 2019.
Houston Maritime Museum
2311 Canal St, Houston, TX 77003

Spaces are limited, so register today at www.galvbay.org/rainbarrel
