Are you a boater with a shallow draft boat? We need your help.
Join us and Texas Parks and Wildlife for a coast-wide effort to remove lost or abandoned traps and fishing gear that cause significant harm to marine creatures and create navigation hazards for boaters.
We are looking for volunteers with shallow draft boats, such as skiffs or air boats, to help with this year’s Abandoned Crab Trap Removal Event!

Bittersweet news: Due to the success of TPWD’s efforts and the reduction of traps in the area, land-based volunteers are not needed this year – this is good news for the Bay!
