Did you know that the health of Galveston Bay starts in your backyard? Regardless of how you use the Bay, as a local resident your actions have consequence. As we all use Galveston Bay for work, play, and leisure we want to ensure it remains healthy and safe for all.  Galveston Bay Foundation works to ensure that our Bay remains fishable and swimmable, both for ourselves and for many generations to come. Join GBF to learn more about this work, current water quality findings for Galveston Bay, and what you can do to help maintain a safe and healthy Bay. Topics will include overall water quality findings and trends, recreational and seafood safety, the Bay’s ability to respond to stressors such as floods and droughts, and most importantly how you can help to maintain healthy, clean waterways in your community and region. A cash bar will be provided on site.
