Join us for a Rain Barrel Workshop on March 7th from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, (501 Palmer Street, Liberty, TX 77575), in partnership with the Liberty County Master Gardeners.
This workshop will consist of a supply pickup, hands-on presentation, and Q&A session with Galveston Bay Foundation staff on site. The presentation will discuss water conservation tools like Water My Yard, the environmental benefits of reducing freshwater usage and collecting rainwater, as well as proper rain barrel preparation, installation instructions, and tips. This workshop is in partnership with the Liberty County Master Gardeners.
New this year: we’re excited to offer a $10 spigot-only kit option, perfect for participants who don’t want to alter their home or any existing structure but still want the benefits of a rain barrel system. Whether you’re a seasoned conservationist or brand new to rainwater harvesting, this hands-on workshop makes it easy to get involved.
