2012 Bay Day

The 2012 Bay Day Festival took place on June 9th, at the Kemah Boardwalk. This free family event drew in people from across the region who came to celebrate Galveston Bay! Local exhibitors showed children and adults how important Galveston Bay is in our everyday lives. Attendees interacted with different types of bay wildlife including live crabs, fish, oysters, snakes, and alligators; learned about the local watershed; and even made their own fish print t-shirts to take home. Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers who continue to make Bay Day a success!
