Bring your pickers and paddles to Trash Bash 2017!
Join over 800 Galveston Bay Foundation volunteers as we collect tons of trash and recyclable materials over a 40-mile stretch of the Armand Bayou site we facilitate during the annual Rivers, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash event. This year, we hope to increase the on-water clean-up effort, so we encourage volunteers to bring a canoe or kayak (land-based clean-up will still be available as well). People of all ages are welcome, and can enjoy a complimentary hot dog lunch, raffle prize event, music, and more at Bay Area Park after a great morning of clean-up.
For more information on paddling Armand Bayou, renting canoes or kayaks, or the Bay Area Park kayak launch location (the main check-in site for this Trash Bash event), please visit the Texas Parks and Wildlife and Harris County websites.
